Description:The PASCO STEM Educator Awards are presented annually to three teachers to honor excellence and innovation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education in grades 6 through 12. To be eligible, a teacher must have a minimum of three years of experience in the STEM fields and have implemented inquiry-based, technology-infused STEM programs. One middle level and two high school level recipients are awarded annually.

The application form for the PASCO STEM Educator Awards is available to download online. In addition to completing the application, nominees must submit the following materials: a narrative of 500 words or less describing how they implement STEM teaching in the classroom; up to three pages of examples of student work products that exhibit real-world application of STEM; three letters of support, each no more than three pages; and a one-page resume or vita with teaching experience, professional development, professional activities, and awards.

Application and all materials must be sent together via email to the awards email address. Faxed materials are not accepted.
Eligibility:Public, Private, Charter, Other (including homeschool, 501 (c)(3) organizations)
Award(s):Three winners will each receive a $500 monetary award, up to $1,000 toward travel expenses to attend the NSTA National Conference, and a $5,000 certificate for PASCO Scientific products.
