Description: | The annual National Science Teaching Association Awards and Recognition Program recognizes exceptional and innovative science educators. The SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment Outstanding Environmental Educator of the Year recognizes the outstanding efforts of students, teachers, and community leaders across the country who are working at the grass roots level to protect and preserve the environment. Eligible nominees are schools, youth groups, individuals and companies working to make an environmental difference. Nominations must be submitted online. | |

Award(s): | A cash prize of $10,000 and an all expense paid trip to the National Science Teaching Association Conference are awarded. | |
