Description:The Vermont Community Foundation offers Spark! Connecting Community Grants for closing opportunity gaps impacting youth, families, and their communities through focus on early care and learning, college and career training, support for youth and families, and community and economic vitality. Previous grants were used to fund out-of-school, experiential learning opportunities with local community members; a childcare center garden; community-created public art bolstering downtown revitalization; and a nature trail supporting environmental education.

Eligible applicants are prekindergarten through grade 12 public schools, undergraduate colleges, and public agencies, as well as nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations or qualified fiscal sponsors serving the people of Vermont. Applications must be submitted using the online system.
Eligibility:Public, Charter, Other (including homeschool, 501 (c)(3) organizations)
Award(s):Awards range from $500 to $3,000.
Deadline(s):Applications are due June 6 and September 13, 2019.
