Description:The Outstanding Young Educator Award from the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) is presented to a teacher who is under age 35 and whose use of technology applied to learning is innovative and visionary, offering a model of best practices for other educators. Nominees must make an impact on the educational community, actively share ideas, and use his or her professional learning network to improve his or her professional work.

Submissions must be made online, using the unique link provided for the Outstanding Young Educator Award. (The link is added to the site when nominations open). Note that required items include letters of recommendation and multimedia materials that provide evidence of the nominee’s excellence and perspective on topics related to educational technology.
Eligibility:Public, Private, Charter
Award(s):Recipients receive a $1,500 cash prize, up to $1,000 for travel to attend the ISTE Annual Conference, complimentary registration, award plaque, and a one-year ISTE standard membership.
Deadline(s):Nominations are accepted December 2 through February 28, annually.
