The Grable Foundation Grants
|Contact:||The Grable Foundation|
650 Smithfield St. Ste. 240
Pittsburgh, PA 1522
|Description:||The Grable Foundation is focused on improving the lives of children in southwestern Pennsylvania. The foundation awards grants in the following focus areas: early childhood, school systems, out-of-school time, and community vitality.|
The foundation supports early learning centers and birth-to-five education programs that prepare children for the school years ahead in the community with their neighbors and peers. In the area of kindergarten through grade 12 education, the foundation seeks programs that guide the development of teachers and school administrators while enhancing the classroom experience with a curriculum rich in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education, environmental awareness, and a host of imperatives attached to twenty-first century citizens. The foundation supports out-of-school opportunities to stretch young bodies and eager minds in a fun and safe environment, such as after-school, summer, and mentoring programs. It also supports community resource and cultural institutions, such as playgrounds, museums, libraries, performances, and festivals.
Organizations interested in a foundation grant must first submit an inquiry. The foundation then invites a submission of a full proposal from select applicants.
