|Description:||Connect A Million Minds recognizes that hands-on learning opportunities are often the catalyst that sparks a young person’s lifelong exploration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Additionally, these experiences help middle and high school students develop the skills they will need in order to become tomorrow’s problem solvers. Programs that Connect A Million Minds supports include after-school STEM programs, mentorship programs that inspire the pursuit of STEM education and careers, STEM-related exhibits and programs at local science and technology museums, STEM-related competitions, science fairs, visitations to technology companies and labs, and apprenticeship programs.|
