Description:The Ohio Educational Library Media Association and the Junior Library Guild make Floyd Dickman Programming Grants that support school library programs that inspires students with the joy of reading. Among requirements is demonstrating financial need for the school program, a letter of support from a school administrator, and a brief narrative explaining how the grant would be used to enhance the library’s print collection.

Eligible applicants are Ohio public and private kindergarten through grade 12 library media specialists who are association members and permanent Ohio residents. Applications must be submitted using the online system.

Award(s):One grant of $250 is awarded.
Deadline(s):Applications are due October 6, annually.
