Description:The East Central Regional Arts Council offers Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund Legacy Grants for Organizations that supports the creation, exhibition, performance, publication, and sponsorship of local and regional large-scale arts projects. Priority themes include the following:
Arts and arts access.
Arts and cultural heritage by building bridges between Minnesotans through arts and culture.
Arts education by investing in lifelong learning in the arts.

Examples of eligible projects include classes, films, presentations, publications, and workshops that promote artists or participation in the arts; residencies involving a professional artist; theatre productions; and art equipment, provided that an equipment use plan is submitted and approved.

Eligible applicants are public agencies such as schools and public libraries; nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations; and local groups or organizations applying through an eligible fiscal agent serving Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, and Pine Counties, Minnesota. Cost matching is required. Applications must be submitted using the online system.

Award(s):Awards range from $5,000 to $15,000.
Deadline(s):Applications are due February 1, April 1, and November 1, annually.
